The forests owe their lushness to leaves, they are the sunlight-trapping organs of plants. To me they are surprising subjects to photograph. They all have different venation patterns, several forms and colors and their transparency makes for very designful images. If we delve deeper beyond their aesthetic qualities we find a lot of meaningful adaptability for survival.

Los bosques deben su exuberancia a las hojas, ellas son los órganos de las plantas que atrapan la luz del sol. Para mi son sujetos sorprendentes para fotografiar. Todas tienen diferentes patrones de venación, varias formas y colores y su transparencia sirve para lograr imágenes bastante artísticas. Si investigamos más allá de sus cualidades estéticas encontraremos muchas importantes adaptaciones para la supervivencia.
